Crooked River Ranch Fire & Rescue Student Program
Crooked River Ranch Fire & Rescue has partnered with Central Oregon Community College (COCC) to offer students an unparalleled opportunity to explore a career in the fire service while completing their studies. As a student with Crooked River Ranch Fire & Rescue, you will receive valuable, hands-on training and work toward certifications as a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician, with the potential to advance to Firefighter/Paramedic.
Students are assigned to one of three shifts during their time with the District, following a 48/96 schedule (48 hours on, 96 hours off). During your shifts, you will engage in comprehensive training across all aspects of fire, rescue, and emergency medical services. Our primary goal is to equip students with the skills, experience, and knowledge necessary to launch a successful career in the fire service.
